Ceramic Ferrule is a kind of annular ceramic molten pool, which is used to protect the molten metal after the welding stud and the parent material are melted by discharge.

 

Function:

  1. Prevent the welding gun and the component from sparking and damaging the gun head
  2. Assist the molten iron in the melting place to make the weld full and uniform
  3. Used in conjunction with a professional welding machine, compared with manual arc welding, the operation is simple and the technical requirements are not high, which reduces the damage of arc and smoke to workers

 

Working principle:

Use the high temperature resistance of ceramics to protect the welding melt from leakage, cool it down and shape it, and improve the quality of stud welding.

Welding shear connector accessories (also known as welding studs, pins) are used in conjunction with shear studs, usually welded by professional stud welding machines.

1. Keep dry, not easy to absorb moisture, avoid high-temperature vaporization of water molecules causing defects such as weld pores;

2. Moderate strength, will not break or produce large cracks under slight pressure or impact;

How to use:

Place the Ceramic Ferrule seat at the stud position where the line has been laid, align the stud with the Ceramic Ferrule seat with a welding gun and tighten it, and turn on the stud welding gun power supply, and the arc starting point of the stud produces high-temperature melting. The head of the stud forms a high-temperature melting weld pool with the parent material. After a short time, weld the stud to the parent material, then remove the Ceramic Ferrule and check the surrounding welds.
